An upholstered bed frame is one with has a padded headboard and foot end and is covered partially or fully in fabric. Upholstery fabrics include velvets, textured weaves and linens or materials other than wood. The padding makes upholstered bed comfortable and soft and are often finished with details such as fluting or buttoning.
